Download TweetGenius for Blackberry
Many clients BlackBerry Twitter, Seesmic, OpenBeak, Twibble, SocialScope, the famous ÜberTwitter … but here I will analyze TweetGenius, a client that I have drawn special attention because of its interface and ease of use.
For a long time since I was using ÜberTwitter seemed very complete and with lots of options, but it was this latter aspect (did not use even half of that offered me options) in addition to some poor interface that made me ÜberTwitter TweetGenius change. Let us now go to analysis itself.
Review
When we started TweetGenius, once logged in with our own, we see a startup screen with three icons (the timeline of our friends, our terms and direct messages) that with a new show called tweets in each section. This, in my view, is a great success because we can see at a glance and the tweets independently in each category.
Timeline of friends
When we went to see the tweets appear every one of the entrances of our friends with a very showy visual style as a snack, but we can change the style bar (no sandwiches) for a more classic. Highlight in this section that our own entries are marked in blue and our picture right aligned to distinguish from those of our friends.
Please enter a tweet will appear on our BlackBerry, besides the entry itself, some icons on the bottom that we offer options to respond, make a RT, bookmark, send a direct message and delete it if is ours. Thus a single go without getting into any additional menu above can do by simply clicking the option you want. Moreover, if we click on the nickname of the person shown us your bio and its location, friends, fans, bookmarks, tweets number published and the date that was given up for Twitter. We will also have two icons on the bottom that will allow us to send a direct message block. In this screen, pressing the menu button on our BlackBerry can see the timeline of our friend, let him follow, among other things.
Another thing that caught my attention and I consider very useful is that both the screen and the list of tweets in the profile of our friend, when you press the menu have the option to track this user. This allows us to track a particular user.
When we write a new tweet will appear a screen like this where we are given the option of taking a photo to share, including our GPS location or shorten a web address by bit.ly. Q A curious effect is that I like enough to send the new tweet, it vanishes in a cloud of dust disappearing on the screen.
Finally in the section of the options we can change the style of the item or snack bars, the size of the source, the search for new tweets in the background and the amount thereof, the maximum number of tweets per list, service upload pictures (or yfrog TwitPic), see people by name or by its nickname, the type of connection and several other options.
